Please consider attending the next Tuckahoe Village Board meeting this Monday, July 11, 2022 at 7:00PM Tuckahoe Village Hall.
The public session is still open for the proposed local law (Affordable Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing) considerations. Changes in zoning could attract developers to build larger units. As always this could impact traffic, infrastructure, services, and school enrollment. Any development has to be sensible development.
The proposed local law can be found on the villages website (tuckahoe.com) type in proposed local law in the search box in the upper right hand corner. Please feel free to email the mayor and board members with any thoughts or questions.
We should all be mindful that the Tuckahoe Schools have had to do significant bonding to enhance and enlarge the Cottle school and now additional work is being done with proceeds from the most recent bond.
